May was such a busy month for me that I wasn’t able to play around with makeup as much as I wanted to but with all the events I had going on during the month, these were the products I gravitated to the most.
The Beauty Blender ($20) is a major key to getting that flawless airbrushed foundation. I’ve had the black beauty blender for a while and have always wanted to try out the pink one, and from the moment I tried it, I fell in love with how my foundation would come out. I would also use it to blend out my next product which is the NYX Cream Highlight & Contour Palette ($15). I’ve been wanting to try out a cream contour but never wanted to spend the $40+ on a high end palette that I might not like or that might not work right with my skin type. Luckily I stumbled across this new palette one day in Ulta and I was very pleased as to how to how it worked out for me along with being more than half the price of higher end cream contour kits. Another item that I picked up at Ulta turned out to be one of my favorite skin care products. I fist heard about the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion ($17) from YouTuber Desi Perkins and thought I might as well try out a new blemish clearing product. This product really works wonders ! I put it on before I go to sleep and when I wake up, my blemish is nearly completely dried up and less red. It’s not going to entirely get rid of the blemish but at least seeing it smaller than what it was the day before is a big plus. Lastly, the final favorite I have has been already featured twice on here adn by now you can all clearly tell I really love this eyeshadow/ highlight palette by Carli Bybel from BH Cosmetics. Unfortunately it was a limited edition palette and is no longer available online but if you were able to get your hands on it you were one of the lucky ones! But if you weren’t able to get this palette, definitely check out BH Cosmetic’s other products because they are very good quality for a low price along with teaming up and collaborating with some great YouTubers !
