Fall Colored Fur

img_5369

Hi loves ! I’m back again with another fall outfit which is perfect for a date night or girls night out. As it’s getting colder and the winter months are nearing, its only right to start pulling out the fur (this is faux don’t worry) coats and vests. Luckily I got this coat at such an amazing price last holiday season from Forever 21. The coat was originally about $60-$70 but I only paid $14 !! My tip to you guys out there would be to wait until it’s getting cold out for coats to go on sale to buy them because you might even be able to get more discounts on top of them. I had my eye on this fur baby for awhile but didn’t know if I wanted to be committed to it. Luckily at the time, I was working at the mall so I would constantly go into the store checking to see if they still had my size or if it went on sale. Initially, they had a 40% off sale off the coats and I don’t quite remember why I didn’t buy it then but I’m glad I didn’t because about a week later all coats were $15 or less ! Of course, not everyone is going to be this successful at waiting around for something to go on sale but if it’s a store like Forever 21 where you know they have a large amount of inventory then definitely wait. I don’t advise this for stores like Marshalls/TJ Maxx because as many know, once those items are gone they’re gone forever! The rest of the outfit details and similar coats are below : )

Crushin’ It

img_5176

If you haven’t noticed yet, one the latest trends for fall/winter this year is crushed velvet. Combined with the popular booties trend made famous from Yeezy and the Kardashians, you get these fashion forward heels that are inexpensive depending on the store. I decided to do an all denim outfit with a basic bomber since these booties are pretty much a statement piece rather than an accessory. I can’t wait to style them more throughout the winter.

Halloween Vibes

img_4872

Happy Halloween ! This year was probably the first time in years that I didn’t go out to party for Halloweekend but not having plans wasn’t going to stop me from getting in the spirit with some makeup and putting together an outfit that felt like Halloween vibes. I saw this easy skull makeup look on beauty vlogger Chrisspy and knew immediately I wanted to try this look. Initially, this wasn’t going to be my costume this year but with the lack of plans I figured I might as well play around with a different makeup look that tested my skills and get some pics for this post. After doing this and loving the results, I realized I should start playing around with different looks every year for Halloween. Can’t wait to experiment with more looks for the years to come ! I hope you guys enjoy the pictures !

Flannel Season

DSC00902.jpg

What other time would be appropriate to wear flannel other than the fall ?! I’ve been waiting to pull this tunic out my closet for the longest time because this hunter green flannel just screams fall to me ! Paired with these faux leather thigh high boots from Windsor (shop here), it gives this outfit an edgy look. Thigh high boots with some shorts or a shorter dress will always make it look like you have these long model legs, so why not take advantage of this illusion. Of course depending on where you live, you could always switch out the shorts for some leggings or tights to stay warm during the chilly weather, but this just so happened to be one of the warm fall days here in Jersey.  Can’t wait to get more fall looks in before the winter really hits !
